5 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
6 SALE OF COUNTY TAX 'TITLE PROPERTY
7 REQUEST NO. 71
8 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been
9 the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington since April
10 1989; and
11 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best
12 interest of the County and the people thereof that said property be
13 sold; and,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest
15 to sell Parcel #380335- 075340 subject to the remaining assessment
16 balance for RID -5 and Water District 10; and,
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the property be sold for the
18 recommended minimum price of $13,536.96, plus costs, and further in this
19 sale transferring all mineral rights; and,
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed
21 under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified check, or
22 money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time of sale; and,
2L BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that
24 public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said
25 terms, be held on the 9th day of June 1992, at
26 7:00 p. m. , at theC01ntY Council Chambers, 1000 N. Forest, Whatcom County,
27 Washington; and
28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County
29 Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
30 law under R.G.W. 36.34. 030.
