SUMMARY STATEMENT.•
The Northwest Washington Fair Board has directed its manager, Ron VanderYacht, to explore the
possibility of purchasing the subject property, adjacent to the existing Fair property. The owners have
consented to a first offer from the Fair of $112,000. The Fair Board will decide on this issue Monday,
February 10th.

RESOLUTION NO. 92 -019
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY BY
THE N.W. WASHINGTON FAIR
WHEREAS, the Northwest Washington Fair Board has directed the Fair
Manager to explore the purchase of real property and improvements, parcel
4003193711120000, adjacent to the existing Fair property; and
WHEREAS, the Northwest Washington Fair Fund has sufficient unencumbered
balance to make a cash purchase of the subject property; and
WHEREAS, the Fair Manager has made the request for approval of purchase of
the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
the Northwest Washington Fair may enter into the purchase of the subject real property
and improvements to be used for Fair purposes.
