The County's IBM SystemA36 computer has been,;providing law and justice'services.
It isnolanned to be repj)aced by a new IBM AS /400. If declared surplus,
the County intends4to dispose of this equipment-at public sale to-the highest
responsive and responsible. bidder following an advertised call for sealed.

9 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
10 SALE OF. WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY
11 PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10_

13 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 28 1992 to
14 discuss the sale of Whatcom County property; and
15
16 WHEREAS, It was determined to be in the best interest of Whatcom
17 County to sell an IBM System /36 computer with additional disk
18 upgrade, and an IBM 8809/C1 computer tape drive;
19
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
21 such property shall be sold at public sale by award to the highest
22 responsive and responsible bidder, following an advertised call for
23 sealed bids.
