The 1993 annual construction program has a project number seventeen, the Reconstruction of
Hannegan Road, Ten Mile Road to SR- 544 -Phase 1. This project will be paid for with funds from
Federal Surface Transportation Program Funds (83 %) and Whatcom County funds (17 %).

RESOLUTION NO. 93 -055
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. CRP- 992228
AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF
HANNEGAN ROAD, TEN MILE ROAD TO SR -544, PHASE 1
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted annual road
program as Item No. 17.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP- 992228 is formally established for the Reconstruction of Hannegan
Road, Ten Mile Road to SR -544, Phase 1.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Wedco Construction, Inc. in the
amount of their bid of $614,168.00, and
An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on
the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes
shown:
PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
Preliminary Engineering $ 38,000
Right -of -way Acquisition S 32,000
Subtotal S 70,000
Construction $614,000
Construction Engineering Testing & Contingency S 66,000
Temporary BST.by County Forces $ 20,000
Total $770,000
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by
24 Contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.010 et.seq., and by County Forces in
25 accordance with RCW 36.77.060 and WAC 136 -18.
