The 1993 annual construction program has as project number 3, the Reconstruction of
East Smith Road - Mission Road to SR 542• This project will be paid for with local funds
and the State Rural Arterial Program funds.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION
Award of bid to the lower bidder, Wilder Construction Company, in the amount of
$1,330,924.00.

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 992226
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR RECONSTRUCTION
OF EAST SMITH ROAD - MISSION TO SR 542
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as Item No. 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 992226 is formally established for the Reconstruction of East Smith Road - Mission Road to SR
542.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Wilder Construction. Company in. the amount of their bid of
$1,330,924.00; and
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County Engineer's
estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
