WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the s County and the people thereof that said property be sold; and, 9 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee has 10 recommended the sale of the subject properties at no less than the recommended minimum 11 bid amounts indicated below; and, 12 WHEREAS, the assessed value, taxes and foreclosure cost amounts and the 13 recommended minimum bid of subject properties are as follows; 14 Recommended 15 Parcel Number Assessed Value Taxes & Costs Minimum Bid 6 370429- 212127 $3,000.00 $981.44 $2,000.00 1 370429 - 212153 1,500.00 858.82 (Included in above 18 (to be sold as a group) $2,000 amount) 19 380125- 445198 1,000.00 589.36 750.00 20 400429- 434382 650.00 unknown 688.00 21 400429- 434402 550.00 unknown (Included in above 22 (to be sold as a group) $688 amount) 23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County 24 to sell these parcels for the recommended minimum prices above, plus costs, and further in 25 this sale transferring all mineral rights; and, 26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said prices shall not be allowed under contract 27 and shall be paid in either cash, cashier's check, or money order to the Whatcom County 28 Treasurer at the time of sale; and, 29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public 30 hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the 31 day of 27th of April , 1993, at 7:00 p.m., at the County Council chambers 32 Whatcom County, Washington; and, 33 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council shall 34 give Notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
