The Prosecuting Attorney's office has released a set of law books titled "Damages in Tort Actions" to Purchasing for
•isposal. If the County Council approves sale, the books will be advertised and sold by sealed bid.

9 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
10 SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY
11 "DAMAGES IN TORT ACTIONS ", A SET OF LAW BOOKS
12 AND THE SETTING OF A DATE FOR PUBLIC
13 HEARING THEREON PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10

15 WHEREAS, a set of law books titled "Damages in Tort Actions" is now
16 and has.been the property of Whatcom County; and
17
18 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is in
19 the best interest of the County to sell such property;
20
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that a
22 public hearing on the matter of the sale of such property be held on
23 the 26th day of January , 1993 at 7:00 p:m. or as soon
24 thereafter as is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Meeting
25 Room at 1000 North Forest Street, Bellingham, Washington, for the
26 purpose of admitting testimony for and against the propriety of
27 selling such equipment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that
the Clerk of the County Council is

directed to
give notice of
such hearing in the manner prescribed by
31
law.
