3 IN APPRECIATION TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED IN THE ORGANIZATION,

4 PLANNING AND LOGISTICS OF THE COURTHOUSE OPEN HOUSE
5 WHEREAS, no public display of the newly constructed Courthouse had previously
6 been accomplished; and
7 WHEREAS, multiple individuals and departments worked with cooperation and
8 diligence to facilitate such a display; and
9 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Courthouse Open House has resulted from these
10 efforts; and
11 WHEREAS, these efforts enabled County government to unite, focusing on one
12 common goal; and
13 WHEREAS, this Open House will also benefit the public by giving them introduction
14 and insight into the operations within the Courthouse;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that the
16 Council honors all those who devoted time and effort into the production of the
17 aforementioned Open House; and

I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council will give special recognition to the
2 groups and individuals who have contributed to these efforts above and beyond the call of
3 duty.
