September 17, 1994 at the County Shop. The Council may find by resolution, following a public hearing, that it is in
the public interest to sell the property.

RESOLUTION NO. 94 -039
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY
AND THE SETTING OF A DATE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10
WHEREAS, the following described property listed in Exhibit "A ", hereby incorporated by
reference, is now and has been the property of Whatcom County; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is in the best interest of
the County to sell such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that a public
hearing on the matter of the sale of such property be held on the 9th day of August, 1994 at
7:00 p.m. or as soon-thereafter as is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers at
311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of admitting testimony for and
against the propriety of selling such equipment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive is hereby authorized to remove property
from this list up to the day of the sale, if it is deemed that the property is necessary for public
use; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County Council is directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law.
