Summary —
The 1994 annual construction program has as project number two, the Replacement of the Wickersham Road
Overcrossing. This project will be paid for with Federal Bridge Replacement Program (BROS) funds, (80 %) and
with local funds (20%). $55,000.00 of the Local share cost of this project will be reimbursed by Burlington Northern
Railway.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award of bid to the lowest responsive bidder, Impero Construction Co., in the amount of $450,746.62.

2 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROTECT NO. 32:�`i30 AND THE AWARD OF
3 CONTRACT FOR WICKERSHAM ROAD OVERCROSSING OF THE BURLINGTON
4 NORTHERN RAILWAY - CRP NO. 992230
5 WHEREAS, these projects are included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program
6 as Item No. 2.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that CRP
8 992230 is formally established for the replacement of Wickersham Road Overcrossing of the
9 Burlington Northern Railway and the - Contract for this project is awarded to Impero Construction
10 Company in the amount of their bid of $450,746.62.
11 An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the County
12 Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
