The 1994 annual construction program has as Project Number 13, Various Bridge Approaches (Guardrail). This
project will be paid for with Federal Hazard Elimination Program (HES) funds, (90 %) and with local funds (10 %).
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award of bid to the lowest bidder, Coral Construction Co., in the amount of $146,166.00.

2 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 993025 AND THE AWARD OF
3 CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE AND APPROACH GUARD
4 RAILINGS FOR VARIOUS COUNTY BRIDGES
5 WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as
6 Item No. 13.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that CRP
8 993025 is formally established for the construction of bridge and approach guard railings for
9 various County bridges and the Contract for this project is awarded to Coral Construction
10 Company in the amount of their bid of $146,166.00.
11 An appropriation from -the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the County
12 Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
