SUMMARY STATEMENT. • Please complete sections of box as appropriate & explain the item below.
Summary: The 1994 Annual Construction Program has as Project No. 8, the Structural Overlay of Slater Road.
This project will be paid for with State County Arterial Preservation Program (CAPP) funds, and local funds.
The Annual Construction Program has as Item No. 18, Miscellaneous Unanticipated Projects. The South Pass Road
Overlay project will be paid out of this account, with local funds.

2 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NOS. 992237 AND 994018 AND THE
3 AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR STRUCTURAL OVERLAY OF
4 SLATER ROAD AND SOUTH PASS ROAD
5 WHEREAS, these projects are included in the officially adopted Annual Road
6 Program as Item No. 9 and 18.
7 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that CRP
8 992237 and CRP 994018 are formally established for the Structural Overlay of Slater Road
9 and South Pass Road.
10 The Contract for these projects is awarded to Wilder Construction Comapny in the
11 amount of their bid of $333,954.00; and
12 An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the
13 County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
