YES 4—/ NO k—/ (Please explain below) Budget line item number(s): I - - A Sheriff patrol sedan has been damaged in an accident so that it is beyond cost effective repair. If declared surplus, it is proposed that the vehicle be sold following the procedures in WCC 1.10.260 for specialty or unique personal property. The Purchasing Manager will be authorized to enter into negotiations for sale of -the item for a price not less than 90% of the estimated market value, which has been established at $2,005. The public will be given two weeks notice by advertisement in the County's legal newspaper, and an opportunity to compete for the. item's purchase by mailed bids. The advertisement shall describe the vehicle and state the negotiated sale price. The vehicle shall not be sold to any County employee or a member of an employee's family.
