2 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 992236
3 AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR RECONSTRUCTION
4 OF TYEE DRIVE
5 WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as
6 Item No. 1.,
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that CRP
8 992236 is formally established for the Reconstruction of Tyee Drive.
9 The contract for this project is awarded to Tiger Construction Company in the amount
10 of their bid of $383,827.00; and
11 An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the County
12 Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
13 PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
14 Preliminary Engineering $35,000.00
.5 Right -of -way Acquisition 21,000.00
16 Subtotal 56,000.00
17 Construction 384,000.00
18 Construction Engineering 60,000.00
19 TOTAL: $500,000.00
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by contract
21 in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et. seq.
