1 RESOLUTION NO. 95 -086
2 AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 95 -038 AND RE- PRIORITIZING WHATCOM
3 COUNTY PROJECTS FOR THE WASHINGTON COMMUNITY ECONOMIC
4 REVITALIZATION TEAM (WA -CERT)
5 WHEREAS, the Washington Community Economic Revitalization Team (WA-
6 CERT) has established pre - application requirements for proposals under the Presidents's
7 Economic Adjustment Initiative for timber impacted communities; and
8 WHEREAS, the pre- application requirements mandate that the County pass a
9 resolution of support and establish numerical priorities for proposals submitted to WA-
10 CERT for 1996 funding consideration; and
11 WHEREAS, on June 20, 1995, the Whatcom County Council prioritized various
12 project proposals submitted before that date; and
13 WHEREAS, the Washington Community Economic Revitalization Team has once
14 again called for additional project proposals and a re- prioritization of those proposed
15 projects by the County;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
17 the recommended prioritization of all projects received by the December 8, 1995
18 deadline are as listed in Exhibit A to this resolution.
