Summary: The 1995 Annual Construction Program has as a Project No. 2, the Reconstruction of Birch Bay -
Lynden Road from I -5 to Delta Line Road. This project will be paid for with State Funds (RAP) and local funds.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION.•
Recommend establishment of CRP 994004 and approval of award of contract to the lowest bidder.

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 994004
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF
BIRCH BAY - LYNDEN ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program
as Item No. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 994004 is formally established for the Reconstruction of Birch Bay - Lynden
Road I -5 to Delta Line Road.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Associated Sand & Gravel in the amount
of their bid of $ 779,759.80.
Preliminary Engineering 25.000
Right of Way 50,000
Subtotal 75,000
Construction $779,800
Construction Engineering 80,000
Total $934,800
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by
Contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et. seq.
