Summary: The 1995 Annual Construction Program has a Project No. 1, the Reconstruction of Hannegan Rd-
East Pole Rd to Scott Ditch Bridge. This project will be paid for with Federal Funds (STP -R) and local funds.

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 994007
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF
HANNEGAN ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program
as Item No. 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 994007 is formally established for the Reconstruction of Hannegan Road,
East Pole Road to Scott Ditch Bridge.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Volker Stevin Pacific, Inc. in the amount
of their bid of $ 1,213,000.
Preliminary Engineering 70,000
Right of Way 41,000
Subtotal 111,000
Construction $ 1,213,000
Construction Engineering 106,000
Total $1,430,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by
Contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et. seq.
