The 1995 Annual Construction Program has as project number 5, the replacement of H Street Road Bridge No. 41
Over Bertrand Creek. This Project will be paid for with local and Federal (BROS) funds.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION: Recommend Establishment of ,CRP- 994016 and approval of
award of Contract to the low bidder.

2 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 994016
3 AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR REPLACEMENT OF
4 H STREET ROAD BRIDGE NO. 41 OVER BERTRAND CREEK
5 WHEREAS, This project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as
6 item number 5.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that CRP
8 994016 is formally established for the Replacement of H Street Road Bridge No. 41 Over
9 Bertrand Creek. The Contract for this project is awarded to One Way Construction Co. in the
10 amount of their bid of $317,224.20.
11 An appropriation from the officially adopted Road fund budget and based on the County
12 Road Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:

14 Preliminary Engineering ` $ 40,000.00
15 Right -of -Way Acquisition $ 7,000.00
16 SUBTOTAL $ 47,000.00
