1 RESOLUTION NO. 95 -017
2 SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION 95 -001, SETTING
3 NEW REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING DATES
4 WHEREAS, Resolution 95 -001 set the regular Whatcom County Council meeting
5 dates for 1995; and
6 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council desires to change its regular meeting
7 schedule from every first, second and fourth Tuesday of the month to every other
8 Tuesday, beginning March 14; and
9 WHEREAS, the Council is adopting this change in order to make its schedule of
10 meetings more manageable and predictable; and
11 WHEREAS, the Council will traditionally have three meetings in November in
12 order to accommodate a hearing on the proposed budget prior to the adoption date, and
.3 it also will schedule short breaks in the meeting schedule in late August and late
14 December;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
16 Resolution 95 -001 is hereby superseded and replaced by this Resolution, and the new
17 meeting schedule for 1995 regular Council meetings is as follows:
