Or vember 3, 1994 a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Sheriff patrol sedan was involved in an accident on the Mount Baker
Hig... ,,ay. The vehicle was totalled and all usable equipment removed. Warren Laing, Fleet Manager, is requesting
that the vehicle be declared surplus so that it may be sold by sealed bid to the highest bidder following the procedures
in WCC 1.10.200. The vehicle shall not be sold to any County employee or a to a member of an employee's
immediate family.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION.
Hold a public hearing and resolve to sell the property.

10 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
11 SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY
12 PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10.260

14 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 7, 1995 1994 to
15 discuss the sale of Whatcom County property; and
16
17 WHEREAS, It was determined to be in the best interest of Whatcom
18 County to sell a wrecked 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Sheriff patrol
19 sedan;

21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
22 such property shall be sold in accordance with procedures specified
23 by WCC 1.10.260 for specialty or unique personal property.
