SUBJECT.- Speed limit - 25 mph on all roads within the plats .of Paradise Park, Paradise Properties and Plat of
Greenbrook.

An Engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's office and it was found that conditions warrant
establishing a speed limit of 25 -mph in the aforementioned plats.

1 ORDINANCE NO. 95 -053
2 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS
3 ON CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS
4 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.415 to
5 establish speed limits on certain County roads; and
6 WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
7 office;
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
9 speed limits be established as follows:
10 1) 25 mph on all roads within the plat of Paradise Park, all Divisions.
11 2) 25 mph on all roads within the plat of Paradise Properties.
12 3) 25 mph on all roads within the plat of Greenbrook.
III All within Section 22, Township 39 North, Range 2 East of W.M.
14 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install
15 the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol
16 be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
17 Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code, Section
18 10.04.030.
