ORDINANCE NO. 95 -041
ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 93 -031
AND ESTABLISHING THE NORTHWEST WASHINGTON
FAIR AS AN AREA FAIR
WHEREAS, Whatcom. County and the Northwest Washington
Fair Board have been successfully carry out the County Fair
responsibilities for a number of years; and
WHEREAS, the status of the County Fair has been changed
making it an area fair rather than a County Fair; and
WHEREAS, since the Fair is now an area fair and not a
County Fair it 'is no longer a County responsibility to conduct
or control the operations of the fair; and,
WHEREAS, since this new designation has occurred it is
no longer necessary to maintain an Ordinance controlling the
Fair.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County
Council that:
Ordinance No. 93 -031 shall hereby be repealed and the
Northwest Washington Fair shall from henceforth be an area
fair unless and until such time as the Fair Board seeks
otherwise.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED all rights, contracts,
agreements, claims and obligations shall remain to be
continued without interruption through the contracting of the
fair operation. .
