Supplemental Budget Ordinance No. 7 adds appropriation to the following budgets:

1 The supplemental request for the Current Expense Fund, Planning and Development Services Department
,appropriates $23,000 from a Washington State grant for Coastal Zone Management, to develop a GIS parcel
layer as part of a GMA/SMP integration project. The project also seeks to utilize Flood Control Zone District
Funds ($10,000) as partial match, and $15,000 from the State Department of Ecology, Nooksack Basin funds
that were previously allocated to Whatcom County.
2. The supplemental request for the Emergency Management Fund appropriates $50,000 from Washington State
EMD OSWER Cross - Border grant for purchase of supplies, small equipment, materials and consultant services
to write a plan for international hazardous material response and to conduct exercises to test the response plan.
3. The supplemental request for the Combined Treatment Services Fund appropriates $44,033 from. Washington
State grants and North Sound Regional Support Network for Mental Health Hospital Diversion Services. Five
percent of this new revenue has been allocated to Combined Treatment Services Mental Health Unit
Administration - Transportation.

ORDINANCE NO. 95 -030
AMENDMENT NO. 7 TO THE 1995 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1995 budget was adopted December 1, 1994; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 1995
budget; and,
WHEREAS, those modifications have been assembled here for deliberation by the
Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by. the Whatcom County Council that the
1995 Whatcom County budget ordinance 94 -073 is hereby amended by adding the following
amounts to the departments included therein:
