warrant intersectional control modification.

INTRODUCTION DATE: 4/25/95
1 ORDINANCE NO. 95-024
2 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING INSTALLING STOP SIGNS
3 ON CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS
4 WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found
5 necessary and expedient to modify traffic control signs on certain County Roads; and
6 . WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's office;
7 and it is found that conditions warrant intersectional control modification.
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
9 intersectional traffic control be modified at the following locations:
10 Install a stop sign Westbound on Welling Road at Magrath Road; within Section
11 15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
12 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to
D install the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington
I State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
15 Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code, Section
16 10.16.
17 ADOPTED this 9th day of May , 1995.
