Resolution 95 -017 changed the Whatcom County Council regular schedule of meeting dates from the first, second and fourth
Tuesday of every month to every other Tuesday. Currently, the County Code book states the meeting schedule is the old
schedule of the first, second, and fourth Tuesday. The change in schedule must be reflected in Whatcom County Code section
2.02.010

AMENDING WHATCOM COUNTY CODE 2.02.010 REGARDING MEETING TIMES
WHEREAS, on January 25, 1994, the Whatcom County Council adopted a regular
meeting schedule of the first, second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, and;
WHEREAS, on February 28, 1995, the Whatcom County Council resolved to change the
regular council meeting dates to every other Tuesdays,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
Whatcom County Code Section 2.02.010 is hereby amended as indicated in the attached Exhibit
A to this ordinance.

2.02.010 Meetings - Times.
A. The regular meeting time of the council shall be first, seeond afta
fourth Tuesday of eaeh me at 7:00 p.m. in the Whatcom County
Courthouse, unless decided otherwise by the council. Special meetings may be called
by the chairperson of the council as required, provided proper public notice and
notice to council members is given.
B. Regular committee of the whole items shall be discussed during the
.......................
council meeting on the first Tuesday of each month, unless decided
otherwise by the council. This meeting may be canceled at the will of the council.
