7 AMENDING ORDINANCE 97 -059, THE 1998 WHATCOM COUNTY
8 UNIFIED FEE SCHEDULE

10 WHEREAS, on November 18, 1997, the Whatcom County Council approved the 1998
11 Whatcom County Unified Fee Schedule by adopting Ordinance 97 -059; and
12
13 WHEREAS, the fees adopted in the 1998 Unified Fee Schedule are necessary for the
14 efficient and effective operation of County Government; and
15
16 WHEREAS, from time to time it is necessary to develop new, or adjust existing fees and
17 charges; and
18
19 WHEREAS, the County Council held a public hearing on June 2, 1998, to consider
20 proposed changes to the 1998 Unified Fee Schedule.

22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
23 Ordinance 97 -059 is hereby amended as indicated in Exhibit A to this ordinance.
