ADS Facilities Management The Supervisors of newly formed Diking District No. 4 have ADS Finance devised a system of assessment to provide revenue for the district. ADS Human Resources The assessment will be based on the total acreage of the district. Henken 4 5 INTRODUCTION DATE: 4/21/98 6 7 ORDINANCE NO. 9 8 =0 3 9 8 9 10 AUTHORIZING A SYSTEM OF ASSESSMENTS FOR DIKING DISTRICT NO. 4 11 12 WHEREAS, the supervisors of Diking District No. 4 have chosen to base the assessment 13 solely on acreage, and 14 15 WHEREAS, the total acreage within Diking District No. 4 is 3092.88; therefore, to 16 generate one thousand, dollars, each acre would be assessed $0.323, and 17 18 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Engineer, in compliance with R.C.W. 85.38.160(2), 19 has prepared a proposed system of assessment for Diking District No. 4 and notified property 20 owners in the district of this system of assessments. 21 22 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Whatcom County Council that a 23 system of assessment based solely on acreage and assessing $0.323 per acre for each one 24 thousand dollars of the district's assessment revenue is hereby authorized for Diking District No. 25 4. 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 ADOPTED this 19 day of May , 1998.
