ORDINANCE NO. 9 8 - 0 2 3
INSTALLING STOP SIGNS ON WHITEHORN WAY
WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 AND 47.36.110, it is found .necessary and
expedient to modify traffic control signs on certain County ' Roads; and
WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's office and it is found
that conditions warrant intersectional control modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that intersectional
traffic control be modified at the following locations:
1) Install a stop sign eastbound on Whitehorn Way at Holeman.Avenue; within Section 2,
Township 39 North, Range 1 West, W.M.
2) Install a stop sign westbound on Whitehorn Way at Holeman Avenue; within Section 2,
Township 39 North, Range 1 West, W.M.
IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install the appropriate signs
and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this
Ordinance.
Provisions of this Ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code, Section 10.16.
ADOPTED this 7 day of Apr i1 , 1998.
