This ordinance reduces the amount of the petty cash fund to $50.

ORDINANCE NO. 97 -072
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 90 -13
REVISING THE AMOUNT AUTHORIZED FOR
THE ADS FINANCE DIVISION, PURCHASING OFFICE'S
PETTY CASH ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the Administrative Services Department (Finance Division),
Purchasing Office's petty cash account was established in 1990 at $500; and,
WHEREAS, the previous amount set for petty cash is no longer needed
and only a small amount is needed to make change when the public purchases
bid documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council
that the Administrative Services Department (Finance Division), Purchasing
Office's petty cash allowance shall be set at $50.00.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all previous ordinances setting
the Purchasing office's petty cash amounts are hereby repealed, including but
not limited to Ordinance 90 -13.
