SUBJECT: Ordinance regarding installing stop signs on certain County Roads in subdivisions:
*in the subdivision of Lakemont at the intersection of Lakemont Road
& McLeod Road.
*in the subdivision of Northern Heights on Roma Road, Sara Court and
Ethan Court, all at their intersections with McGrath Road.
*in the subdivision of Lakeview Estates at Lakewood Lane, Langara Circle
and Gabriola Court, all at their intersection with Cordero Drive.

AN ORDINANCE REGARDING INSTALLING STOP SIGNS
ON CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS
WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found necessary
and expedient to modify traffic control signs on certain County Roads; and
WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's office;
and it is found that conditions warrant intersectional control modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
intersectional traffic control be modified at the following locations:
1) Install a stop sign Southbound on Lakemont Road at Mcleod Road; within
Section 15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
2) Install a stop sign Westbound on Roma Road at Magrath Road; within Section
15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
3) Install a stop sign Westbound on Sara Court at Magrath Road; within Section
15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
4) Install a stop sign Westbound on Ethan Court at Magrath Road; within Section
15, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
5) Install a stop sign Eastbound on Cordero Drive at Lakewood Lane; within
Section 27, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
6) Install a stop sign Eastbound on Langara Circle at Cordero Drive; within
Section 27, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
7) Install a stop sign Westbound on Gabriola Court at Cordero Drive; within
Section 27, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install
the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol
be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
