Supplemental Budget Ordinance No. 4 requests that the Current Expense Fund, Health Department, appropriate a
total of $83,523 from contract amendment no. 1 of the State Department of Health Consolidated Contract, for the
following programs:
$21,047 INPHO project: Public health communication network.
$36,916 Continuation of computerization upgrades and injury prevention needs assessment.
$9,000 Maternal Child Health Psychosocial Network.
$20,791 Infant Immunization project.
$5,251 Adolescent Hepatitis B immunization clinic.
Less administrative overhead:

No additional FTE's are requested.

ORDINANCE NO. 97 -016
AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE 1997 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 1997 budget was adopted November 26, 1996; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 1997 budget;
and,
WHEREAS, those modifications have been assembled here for deliberation by the Whatcom
County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 1997
Whatcom County budget ordinance 96 -054 is hereby amended by adding the following amounts
to the budgets included therein:
