NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council: That CRP 999016 is formally established for the Structural Overlay of Northwest Drive from Bellingham City Limits to West Axton Road. The Contract for this project is awarded to Wilder Construction Co. in the amount of their bid of $1,007,175.00. June 16, 1999 Subject: Structural Overlay of Northwest Drive from Bellingham City Limits to West Axton Road CRP 999016 Dear Mr. Kremen: Bid proposals for the subject project were opened at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, 1999. Based on our review of the four bids received, we recommend that the contract for the subject project be awarded to the low bidder, Wilder Construction Co. in the amount of $1,007,175.00 including taxes. This project is listed under Item No. 35 under the 1999 Annual Construction Budget (as amended) which was approved this spring. Sufficient funds exist to complete the project. Local funds are involved. Attached for your review is a copy of the low bid proposal, tabulation of all bids, Resolution for Contract Award, Whatcom County Contract Information Sheet and a Whatcom County Council Agenda Bill.
