WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as Item Nos. 9 and 10. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council: That CRP 998008 / 998009 is formally established for the Reconstruction of Tyee Drive / APA Road, from Simundson Drive to Gulf Road, and Point Roberts Shoulder Widening of Benson Road, South Beach Road, and APA Road. The Contract for this project is awarded to Friberg Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of their bid of $737,816.00. Based on our review of the five bids received, we recommend that the contract for the subject project be awarded to the low bidder, Friberg Construction in the amount of $737,816.00 including taxes. This project is listed under Item Nos. 9 & Budget which was approved last fall. project.
