2 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
3 SALE OF COUNTY OWNED PROPERTY
4 REQUEST NO. 95 -10
5 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property of the
6 County of Whatcom, State of Washington since July 31, 1922; and
7 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the County
8 and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
9 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Assessor, Engineering, Parks, Planning, and Public
10 Works Departments were contacted and expressed no interest in retaining this property for County
11 use; and,
12 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee recommends the sale
13 of the subject property;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County to

21 ACCESS BY THE STATE OF WA, DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION, TO MAINTAIN BANK

23 than $ plus costs; and,
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed under contract and
25 shall be paid in either cash, cashier's check, or money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at
26 the time of sale; and,
27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that public hearing on
28 the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the 17 day of S 8p t emb e r ,
29 1996, at 7:00 p.m., at the County Courthouse , Whatcom County, Washington; and,
30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council shall give
31 notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW 36.34.030.
