2 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
3 SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
4 REQUEST NO. 95 -9

5 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property of the
6 County of Whatcom, State of Washington since December 3, 1964; and
7 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the
8 County and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
9 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee recommends the
10 sale of the subject property; and,
11 WHEREAS, the sum of taxes plus foreclosure costs total $70.82;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County
13 to sell Parcel #380328 - 521402 having legal description of: ELDRIDGE' S PARK ADD -
14 BLK: 2 LOT: 1 -2 -3, to the highest and best bidder for no less than $ , and further
15 in this sale transferring all mineral rights; and,
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed under contract and
'7 shall be paid in either cash, certified check, or money order to the Whatcom County
18 Treasurer at the time of sale; and,
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public
20 hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the day
21 of September , 1996, at 7:00 p.m., at the County Courthouse
22 Whatcom County, Washington; and,
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council shall
24 give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW 36.34.030.
