2 TO ISSUE CERTIFICATE OF DELINQUENCY FOR FEWER THAN ALL YEARS'
3 TAXES, INTEREST AND COSTS
4 REQUEST NO. 96 -4
5 WHEREAS, RCW 84.64.050 states that after the expiration of three years from the date
6 of delinquency, when any property remains on the tax rolls for which no certificate of delinquency
7 has been issued, the county treasurer shall proceed to issue certificates of delinquency on the
8 property to the county for all years' taxes, interest, and costs: PROVIDED, that the County
9 Treasurer, with the consent of the county legislative authority, may elect to issue a certificate of
10 delinquency for fewer than all years' taxes, interest, and costs to a minimum of the taxes, interest,
11 and costs for the earliest year; and,
12 WHEREAS, the County Treasurer has elected to issue the certificate of delinquency to the
13 county for the year 1993 taxes, interest and costs, and prior years, if any;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Treasurer shall issue the
15 certificate of delinquency to the county for the year 1993 taxes, interest and costs, and prior years,
16 if any. For purposes of this resolution, "taxes, interest and costs" are as defined in RCW 84.64.
