RESOLUTION NO.96 -026
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 96 -3
WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property of the
County of Whatcom, State of Washington since December 15, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the
County and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee recommends the
sale of the subject property; and,
WHEREAS, the sum of taxes plus foreclosure costs total $956.97;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County
to sell Parcel #400131 - 031326 -0115 having legal description of: CABANA CLUB
CONDOMINIUM UNIT 109 - UNDIV 1/48 INT IN TSU E -29, to the highest and best
bidder for no less than $ ; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed under contract and
shall be paid in either cash, certified check_ , or money order to the Whatcom County
Treasurer at the time of sale; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public
hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the 25 day
Of June , 1996, at 7 :00 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Courthouse,
Whatcom County, Washington; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council shall
give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW 36.34.030.
