With the dissoulution of Television Reception District #1, the County needs to dispose of the reception tower and
gcellaneous equipment in accordance with RCW36.95.20. The purchasing agent has determined the property to be
plus. If the Council resolves to sell, the property will be sold by bid.

RESOLUTION NO. 96 -023
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
SALE OF SURPLUS TELEVISION DISTRICT EQUIPMENT
AND THE SETTING OF A DATE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10

WHEREAS, the equipment formerly used by Television Reception District #1 is the property of Whatcom
County; and
WHEREAS, the county purchasing agent has determined that it is in the best interest of the county to sell
such property, and has set its value at an amount in excess of $1,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that a public hearing on the
matter of the sale of such property be held on M May 28 , 1996 at 7: 00 pm or as soon
thereafter as is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers at 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham,
Washington, for the purpose of admitting testimony for and against the propriety of selling such
.equipment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County Council is directed to give notice of such
hearing in the manner prescribed by law.
