Last December, a WA -CERT project for the City of Everson was not included at the time the Council looked at the priorities.
At that time, the Council added additional projects from the City of Blaine as #11, and the City of Lynden as #12. This
resolution will add the Everson project. as number 13.
RECOMWENDED MOTION (for final action):
I move to approve the resolution.

1 RESOLUTION NO.96 -021
2 AMENDING RESOLUTION NO 95 -308 TO ADD THE CITY OF EVERSON ECONOMIC
3 DEVELOPMENT PLAN PROJECT TO THE WA -CERT PROJECT LIST
4 WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 12, 1995 the Whatcom County Council amended
5 the WA -CERT project list to include projects from PUD #1, the City of Blaine and the City of
6 Lynden; and
7 WHEREAS, a proposal from the City of Everson was not included in the discussion or list
8 of approved projects; and
9 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is desirous of helping the City of Everson and
10 in seeing that the project be funded by the WA -CERT process if at all possible;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that the City
12 of Everson Economic Development Plan Project is hereby added to the WA -CERT project list as
13 project number 13, and the previous resolution 95 -038 is hereby amended to include the specified
14 projects as shown on attachment A.
