Summary: The 1997 Annual Construction Program has a Project No. 2, the Structural Overlay of Everson -
Goshen Rd. E. Smith Rd to Hemmi Rd. This project will be paid for with local funds.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION.•
Recommend establishment of CRP 997001, the Structural Overlay of Everson - Goshen Rd. and approval of
award of contract to the lowest bidder, Wilder Construction, in the amount of $ 698,790.00.

RESOLUTION NO. 97 -042
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 997001
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE STRUCTURAL OVERLAY OF
EVERSON - GOSHEN ROAD, E. SMITH ROAD TO HEMMI ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program
as Item No. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 997001 is formally established for the Structural Overlay of Everson -
Goshen Rd., East Smith Road to Hemmi Road.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Wilder Construction in the amount of
their bid of $698,790.00; and
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the
County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes
shown:
