The 1997 Annual Construction Program has as project number 21, the replacement of Hillaire Road Bridge No.
6 Over The Red River. This Project will be paid for with local and Federal (BROS) funds.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION. Recommend Establishment of CRP - 995020, the Replacement of
Hillaire Road Bridge No 6 Over The Red River, and approval of award of Contract to the low bidder, One Way
Construction Co. in the amount of $298,938.00.

2 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 995020
3 AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR REPLACEMENT OF
4 HILLAIRE ROAD BRIDGE NO. 6 OVER THE RED RIVER
5 WHEREAS, This project is included in the officially adopted 1997 Annual Road
6 Program as item number 21,
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
8 CRP 995020 is formally established for the Replacement of Hillaire Road Bridge No. 6
9 Over The Red River. The Contract for this project is awarded to One Way
10 Construction Co. in the amount of their low bid of $298,938.00.
11 An appropriation from the officially adopted Road fund budget and based on the
12 County Road Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes
13 shown:
