SUMMARY STATEMENT.-
The 1997 Annual Construction Program has as Project Item No. 15, the cleaning and
painting of Hannegan Road Bridge No. 252 and Baker Lake Road Bridge No. 421.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION.•
Recommend the establishment of CRP 997006 and 997007, the Cleaning and Painting of
Hannegan Road Bridge No. 252 and Baker Lake Road Bridge No. 421, and the approval
of contract award to the lowest bidder, A & A Coatings, Inc., in the amount of $73,549.00.

2 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NOS. 997006 AND 997007
3 AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE CLEANING & PAINTING OF
4 HANNEGAN ROAD BRIDGE NO. 252 & BAKER LAKE ROAD BRIDGE NO. 421
5 WHEREAS, This project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program
6 as item number 15.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
8 CRP 997006 AND 997007 are formally established for the Cleaning and Painting of
9 Hannegan Road Bridge No. 252 and Baker Lake Road Bridge No. 421. The Contract for
10 this project is awarded to A & A Coatings, Inc. in the amount of their bid of $73,549.00.
11 An appropriation from the officially adopted Road fund budget and based on the
12 County Road Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes
13 shown:
