Summary: The 1997 Annual Construction Program has a Project No. 10, the reconstruction of Loomis Trail
Road. This project will be paid for with local and State funds.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION•
Recommend establishment of CRP 994015, the Reconstruction of Loomis Trail Road and approval of award
of contract to the lowest bidder, Tiger Construction, in the amount of $ 767,823.60.

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 994015
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF LOOMIS
TRAIL ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program
as Item No. 10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 994015 is formally established for the Reconstruction of Loomis Trail
Road, Sunrise Road to Bob Hall Road.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Tiger Construction in the amount of their
bid of $767,823.60; and
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the
County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes
shown:
