7 REQUESTING WASHINGTON STATE GOVERNOR REINSTATE SUSIE SCHAEFER AS
8 REGIONAL ADMINISTRATOR FOR WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL
9 AND HEALTH SERVICES, DIVISION OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, REGION 3

12 WHEREAS, Susie Schaefer, Washington State Department of Social and Health
13 Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Region 3, Regional Administrator, has been an
14 invaluable asset in promoting and acquiring quality services for the local developmental
15 disabilities community, and
16
17 WHEREAS, Ms. Schaefer has been reassigned; and
18
19 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Developmental Disabilities Board unanimously
20 passed a resolution requesting the Governor's office reinstate Ms. Schaefer to Region 3.
21
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council requests
23 the Governor's office to facilitate Susie Schaefer's reinstatement as Regional Administrator for
24 Region 3.
