RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommend establishment of CRP 997017, reconstruction of Jackson
Road from Brown Road to Grandview Road, and approval of award of
contract to the lowest bidder, Paragon Construction Company, in the
amount of $ 299,685.10

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT
NO. 997017 AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF JACKSON ROAD_
BROWN ROAD TO GRANDVIEW ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially.adopted Annual Road Program as Item
No. 14.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 997017 is formally established for the reconstruction Jackson Road from Brown
Road to Grandview Road;
The Contract 'for this project is awarded to Paragon Construction Company, Inc. in the
amount of their bid of $299,685.10;
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County
Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
