SUMMARYSTATEMENT:
Distribution Request
Indicate those who should receive a copy after Council action.
The 1998 Annual Construction Program has a project No. 1, the
Reconstruction of Austin Street from Lake Louise. Road to Cable
reet. This project will be funded by Federal and local funds..
Recommend establishment of CRP 996003 and approval of award of
Contract to the lowest bidder, Friberg Construction Co. Inc., in the
Amount of contract to $618,857.00.

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 996003
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF
AUSTIN STREET.
WHEREAS, this project is .included in the officially adopted
Annual Road Program as Item No. 1
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 996003 is. formally established. for the
Reconstruction of Austin Street, from Lake Louise Road to
Cable Street.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Friberg
Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of their bid of
$618,857.00.
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget
and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in
the amounts and for the purposes shown:
