The 1998 Annual Construction Program has a project No. 12, the
Replacement of Saxon Road Bridge No. 127A Over the South Fork
3oksack River
This project will be funded by Federal (BROS) and local funds.
Recommend establishment of CRP 997014 . and approval of award of
Contract to the lowest bidder, One Way Construction Co. Inc., in the
Amount of contract to $1,568,135.00.

RESOLUTION NO. 98 -034
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 997014
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF
SAXON ROAD BRIDGE NO. 127A OVER THE SOUTH FORK NOOKSACK -RIVER
WHEREAS; this project is included in the officially adopted 1998 Annual Road Program as
Item No. 12.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 997014 is formally established for the Replacement of Saxon Road Bridge No.
127A over the South Fork Nooksack River. The Contract for this project is awarded to One
Way Construction Co. in the amount of their lowest responsive bid of $1,568,135.00
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund budget and based on the County
Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
