SUMMARY STATEMENT•
Distribution Request
Indicate those who should receive a copy after Council action:
The 1998 Annual Construction Program has a project No. 7, the
Reconstruction of West Badger Road, from Markworth Rd. to SR
'39. This project will be funded by State and local funds.
Recommend establishment of CRP 995011 and approval of award of
Contract to the lowest bidder, Callen Construction Co., Inc., in the
Amount of contract to $2,410,615.00.

RESOLUTION NO. 98 -01
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 995011
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF
WEST BADGER ROAD.
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted
Annual Road Program as Item No. 7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 995011 is formally established for the
Reconstruction of West Badger Road, from Markworth Rd. to SR
539.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Callen
Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of "their bid of
$2,410,615.00.
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget
and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in
the amounts and for the purposes shown:
