"rrMMARYSTATEMENT.
The 1998 Annual Construction Program has a project no. 2
the Structural Overlay of Lake Whatcom Blvd. This
project will be paid for with local funds.
Recommend establishment of CRP 997002 and approval of
award of contract to the lowest biddet, Whatcom
Builders, in the amount of $211,825.50.

RESOLUTION NO. 98 -016
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 997002
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE STRUCTURAL OVERLAY OF.LAKE
WHATCOM BLVD.
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted
Annual Road Program.as Item No. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 997002 is formally established for the Structural
Overlay of Lake Whatcom Blvd.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Whatcom Builders
in the amount of their bid of $211,825.50; and
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget
and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in
the amounts and for the purposes shown:
PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
Preliminary Engineering $ 25,000.00
Right -of -Way $ 0.00
Subtotal $25,000.00
Construction .$211,900.00
Construction Engineering .$ 35,000.00
Total
$271,900.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction- is to be
accomplished by Contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et.
seq.
