ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 994011 & CRP 997015
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF
NORTHWEST DRIVE- W. AXTON ROAD TO W. POLE ROAD.
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted
Annual Road Program as Item No. 6.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 994011 (W. Axton Road to Piper Road) and CRP 997015
(Piper Road to W. Pole Road) is formally established for the
Reconstruction of Northwest Drive.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Wilder
Construction in the amount of their bid of $1,792,664.25; and
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget
and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in
the amounts and for the purposes shown:
PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
Preliminary Engineering $ 90,000.00
Right-of-Way $175,000.00
Subtotal $265,000.00
Construction $1,792,665.00
Construction Engineering $ 110,000.00
Total
$2,167,665..00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be
accomplished by Contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et.
seq.
PASSED this 21 day of April , 1998.
